I am pleased to introduce you to Advantage Behavioral Health. I want to briefly tell you about our interest in working with you and others as Advantage undertakes a non-traditional approach to the delivery of effective behavioral health services.
As a former executive of a traditional managed behavioral health company, I found it difficult to push cost controls and appropriate treatment outcomes through edicts, contract amendments and desk top utilization reviews. Advantage will work with you to promote best treatment and care coordination and address administrative redundancy and costly care access problems.
It is a new day in managed behavioral health and the vision can only be accomplished through new partnerships with you, the provider. I believe that through the use of today's healthcare technology and clinical advances we can significantly improve access to quality behavioral and physical healthcare, improve healthcare outcomes and improve administrative efficiencies. Individuals with mental illness and substance abuse issues can live full, productive and meaningful lives.
